This is a little sneak preview of the new skirt I'm making for Riah.

| Two little ruffles about 1" up from the hem, and some hand ruched vintage rayon seam binding to cover the stitching on the top ruffle. I love doing this ruching, it's easy and sort of quick, but it looks fantastic! |

| See, you just do a little running stitch along the seam binding in a zig zag pattern, then pull it up so it's gathered, then pin it down. I will have to go back and hand sew it on to the skirt, but that's ok. It's too cute not to! | | |

This skirt, once finished will probably be available in the Pretty Jane shop for custom order. And wait till you see the sweater I put together (it doesn't go with this skirt) it surprised even me! :)
