Part of my Vintage Pattern Collection

My sister found a treasure filled box in her thrift shopping a few weeks ago - about 50-60 vintage patterns in Great condition, some never used or unfolded. She got them for me and shipped them to me, and I'm just today getting my favorites posted for you. So - Many Pictures coming, go get that second cup of coffee while they download :)

You can click on each one to make it bigger - my favorite? The wedding dress from Advance - and it's not a printed pattern! I will make it, maybe not as a wedding dress, but as a beautiful dress, and that will be fun! :) Oh the challenge!!!

Enjoy! Karen :)

  1. I love vintage patterns, Karen. My dear friend, Grace gave me some vintage baby layette patterns and I cherish them.

I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
    Hugs from FL,

  2. Oh I'd love to see that pattern someday! I also cherish these patterns, each one is like a story. Each pattern has a history. Even if it was never used, most of them have a name written on them, so someone was planning to make them but for some reason, never did. I wonder why...?

Happy Valentines Day to you too Donna :) Hugs back...karen

  3. Wow, what a great sister!!!! This must have been like Christmas all over again, for you.
I really like the children's vintage patterns!!!! Those are fun and so much cuter than the current patterns...Maybe because I am old!!! LOL!!!

  4. I'm blog hopping the FWS gals blogs. Gee, I think I just tossed some old patterns last time we moved. Well, they weren't vintage, but they will be in a decade or so more.
